If you plan to visit the town of Boljoon, you should really read this guide because you do not want to get lost in a wondrous paradise right?

1.) PLAN WELL THE TRIP

Know the place first and read articles, travelling guides about the town for you to know what's in it for you. You better start saving money because travelling can really cause you to spend much especially if the town is a far away distance from your abode and if you want to buy souvenirs for you to not forget Boljoon.

2.) TAKE PICTURES

When you arrive in town, you should ready your cameras, cellphones, and other gadgets to take the gorgeous sceneries and to take shot of those amazing experiences you don't want to forget and miss.

3.) ENJOY YOUR WONDERFUL STAY

You should book hotels or pension houses because We are sure you do not want to sleep on the streets. We suggest that you choose a room located near the seashore because we are sure that you will love the cool breeze from the sea. This will not be a problem because the town offers lot of places wher you can have a wondeful stay and luckily most of them were just located at the outskirts of the coastal areas.

4.) TASTE THEIR PALATABLE DELICACIES

Your stay in Boljoon will be incomplete if you will not grab the opportunity to try their delicious foods.

5.) TALK WITH THE TOWNFOLKS

Talking with the Boljoanons will make you know more about the town and how the people live. They are very friendly people and we had fun chatting and interviewing them for infromations at the same time. Their town of speaking their native language is very amusing because their intonation is somewhat in a sing-song manner.

A Glimpse to a

Breathtaking Town in the South

 

     One of the oldest towns in the southern part of Cebu, the municipality of Boljoon is considered "the only postcard town in the entire province" because of its' beauty.

    The town is bounded by the municipality of Alcoy in the north, the municipaliy of Oslob in the south, the municipality of Malabuyoc in the west and the Bohol Strait in the east. Boljoon is an agricultural town where fishing and farming is the main livelihood of the people. It is composed of 11 barangays, six of which, including the poblacion are coastal, while the rest are upland barangays.
